How do I organise a therapy session?


To make it easy for you, Intimacy Healing has an online booking system that allows you to make and manage your appointments. Just click on this link and it will take you to the Client Portal where you can book an appointment.


What should I expect in my first session?


During your first session we will talk about why you need help and the challenges you are currently experiencing.

Normally after your first session, you will be sent online confidential assessments to complete i.e SDI (Sexual Dependency Inventory) the SDMI (Sexual Digital Media Inventory) and the (PTSI) Post-Traumatic Stress Index

Generally 3 to 5 initial appointments are required to do comprehensive assessments and develop a treatment plan.


How often will I need sessions for?


We recommend initially that you start off attending weekly for at least 5 weeks and then tailor the frequency of sessions depending on your progress and the recommendations of your Psychotherapist.

When you book your first 5 sessions you receive a 15% discount on the normal investment.


Will I need a referral?

Do you accept Private Health Insurance?


You do not need a referral from a Medical Practitioner to attend Intimacy Healing for therapy.

Intimacy Healing is a registered provider for the following Private Health Insurance Funds

Members of the above Health Funds may be eligible for rebates for counselling services.

Is therapy done face to face or via Telehealth?


Therapy sessions for local clients in Melbourne are conducted at my office in Malvern or by secure video (Telehealth).

Therapy sessions for clients living outside Melbourne (anywhere else e.g in Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific Region, UK, Ireland) are conducted by secure video (Telehealth)

You will be sent a secure link to access your Telehealth session.
