SOMATIC EXPERIENCING
SOMATIC EXPERIENCING®
Somatic Experiencing (SE™) aims to resolve symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma that accumulate in our bodies.
Somatic Experiencing was founded and developed by Dr. Peter Levine
When we are stuck in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze, SE helps us release, recover, and become more resilient.
It is a body-oriented therapeutic model applied in multiple professions and professional settings—psychotherapy, medicine, coaching, teaching, and physical therapy—for healing trauma and other stress disorders.
It is based on a multidisciplinary intersection of physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices, and medical biophysics and has been clinically applied for more than four decades.
INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS
Developed by Richard Schwartz, IFS helps people understand the different “parts” of their inner world, such as the inner critic, protectors, and wounded younger parts.
Many struggles, including shame, compulsive behaviours, and relationship difficulties, are driven by parts that developed to cope with earlier life experiences.
Rather than fighting these parts, IFS helps people approach them with curiosity, compassion, and understanding.
Clients learn to access their core Self—a place of calm, clarity, confidence, and compassion—from which healing can occur.
IFS helps reduce shame and inner conflict, supporting lasting change in trauma, relationships, and compulsive patterns.
BRAINSPOTTING

Brainspotting is a powerful brain/body focused therapeutic tool that works by identifying, locating and releasing unprocessed trauma.
Brainspotting is a brain-based therapy that utilises your visual field (where you look) to access a deeper part of your brain, allowing your brain to process and heal in a way that talk therapy alone cannot reach.
Brainspotting can help you find relief from the things that have you feeling stuck and heal from trauma.
